Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Medical Degree: Candidates must have passed or be appearing in the final year of their Medical Degree (MBBS) from a recognized university in India.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 32 years as of August 1, 2024.
• Date of Birth Requirement: Candidates must have been born on or after August 2, 1992.
• Age Relaxation: Additional age relaxation is applicable as per UPSC CMS 2024 recruitment rules for reserved categories and other special cases.

Additional Requirements

1. Internship: Candidates who have not completed the compulsory rotating internship are also eligible to apply but must complete the internship before the appointment.
2. Physical and Medical Standards: Candidates must meet the physical and medical standards as specified in the official notification for the CMS 2024.

Other Criteria

• Nationality: Candidates must be a citizen of India, a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
• Registration: Candidates must be registered with the Medical Council of India or any State Medical Council after obtaining the MBBS degree.

How to Fill the UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination (CMSE) 2024 Online Form

1. One Time Registration (OTR)
   • Requirement: Complete One Time Registration on the UPSC website. This is mandatory before applying for the exam.

7. Final Submission
